It was really amazing. I loved how small it was; probably 100 or so people. Me, Anna, & Michelle sat in the third row. It was at the Swedish American Hall in SF. His voice is seriously sexy. Seriously.

I feel like I'm not in touch with my roots. I realized that I really don't have many filipino friends; I miss that. I miss the comfort of knowing everyone is gonna be late for any occasion, and talking in fob, making fun of our relatives. I love filipino people. I love how they're constantly showing pride for their country and people. Being filipino gives me an excuse to be ghetto-fabulous and sexy (and short). They just like to have fun and don't give a damn about what other people think. They like to dance. They actually know how to dance. And they make damn good food. I'm tired of feeling awkward cause I'm the only asian one in my group of friends. They make me feel comfortable. I need that in my life right now. I NEED TO GO TO THE HOMELAND.

I just had one of the funnest nights of my life. Brittany's cotillion was off the chains and crashing Boris' Bar Mitzfah was the best. I got to hang out with people I normally don't hang out with & I even made some Jewish friends! Hella got hyphy tonight. lovin it. I'll post pictures of the wonderous event tomorrow morning; I'm beat.

So I logged onto myspace and looked at a bulletin from my friend who recently got back from her ABT (American Ballet Theater) Summer Program. Those of you who have seen the movie Center Stage...it's like that. She had a bunch of pictures up of her performances and her with famous ballet dancers.

Now I miss ballet and regret quitting. I miss WSPA, my old dance school. 10 fucking years of ballet training and I threw it all away.

Gosh. Now I'm gonna go watch Center Stage.

Halloween in August! Me, H-Bomb, & Ambeezy dressed up as greek goddesses. We totally made it to the finals of the costume contest.

Me & Nina weren't in the same unit, so we rarely saw each other. So it was a very happy occasion when we did.

PETERMITCH&RILEY! So here's the 411 on these boys: they are best friends and always wear LRG clothes. Heather & I met them on the 3rd night during the epic game of Capture the Flag and they are the coolest kids ever. We always said their names together really fast and in order. PETERMITCH&RILEY! And whenever they'd be out of order, they would fix it for us. Peter (left) is deemed mini James Riley. Mitch (middle)is a HELLA sick dancer. Riley (right) is purely adorable.

Okay so this is my favorite picture of all time.
We had light up grills in, but apparently they didn't show up. SO instead we look like complete fools instead of gangstas. I love and miss that girl so much. It is unbelievable how close we got in those 10 days. And totally depressing that she lives 2 hours away from me.

So last night on my way home I turned on the radio. And it happened to be on 94.9. Last night happened to be a sunday. And guess what 94.9 plays on Sunday nights?!?!? OLDIES!

Ok. so you're wondering (or not): What significance does that have to Jessica?

When I was a kid, my family used to go up to the city every sunday night to cook dinner for my g-ma. And on the way home, my dad would always listen to "Wild 94.9's Sunday Night Oldies!"

So that doesn't really seem like a big deal but it really was. Last night brought back SO many memories of my g-ma. She couldn't speak english, so obviously I was never able to get very close to her. But I loved her of course. LovED as in she died a while ago of breast cancer. Listening to the radio last night made me realize how much I miss my g-ma. And I wish that I could've been able to communicate with her. I think that's the hardest part. Knowing I was never really close to her because we didn't speak the same language.

Ok. Done with the emotional crap.
